As a native of Lee's Summit and a graduate of Lee's Summit High School, attorney Michael Dodig understands the legal concerns of businesses in the greater Kansas City metro area. After attending the University of Missouri Kansas City and receiving his law degree from the University of Chicago, attorney Dodig has practiced in the state and federal courts of Missouri and Kansas.
Attorney Dodig began his practice by handling employment law and business law litigation for a major Kansas City law firm. After seven years, he started another firm with several partners, expanding his business and employment law practice to include corporate, real estate, and land use and development.
In 2007, Michael Dodig founded The Dodig Law Firm, here in Lees Summit. For his work helping Kansas and Missouri businesses in the Kansas City metro area, he has received Martindale-Hubbell's top rating. Awarded based on the input of his peers, his AV rating signifies his dedication to business law and the success of his clients*.
Community Involvement
In addition to his work as an attorney, Michael is very active in the Lee's Summit community. Currently a member of the Lee's Summit R-7 Board of Education, he is also an active member of the Rotary Club of Lee's Summit. He is a former member of the Lee's Summit City Council, the Board of Directors of the Lee's Summit Chamber of Commerce, and the Board of Directors of the Lee's Summit Economic Development Council. He has served on the Lee's Summit Historical Preservation Commission and on Leadership Lee's Summit. Currently, the Dodig Law Firm is a Partner in Education with Richardson Elementary School in Lee's Summit.
